Spanish Language Immersion in Chile

In 2018, I spent six weeks in Viña del Mar, Chile on a language immersion trip through the Indiana University Honors Program in Foreign Language. During the trip, I spoke, listened to, read, and wrote exclusively in Spanish. Through formal language classes, everyday interactions, and long talks with my host mother, I greatly improved my Spanish language skills. This program inspired me to pursue a Minor in Spanish and become more comfortable leaving my comfort zone.
